I joined Dare To Sing Ladies Choristers for many reasons…
- To fulfill a life ambition!
- To be a part of a team!
- To give something worthwhile back to the community!
- To do something positive with my life (I had been ill for some years).
During the 2 and a half years we have been together the choir has become a very important part of recovery and therefore my life. Through fellow choristers and our wonderful Musical Director, the choir has helped me achieve these personal goals and develop a sense of well-being and belonging.

“Choir is a fulfilling, worthwhile and satisfying part of my life. I love the fact we are a cohesive united group who care for each other and want to make a beautiful noise together.”
Elizabeth Blinkhorn, Dare To Sing Choir Member
“Joining this choir is the best thing I’ve done, you’ve all helped me through difficulties times and I’ve met and made lots of friends. Singing is good for the soul and gives you a sense of well-being. I know we’re all singing from the same hymn sheet (if you pardon the pun) and I couldn’t think of anything I’d rather do on a Monday night and Llinos our Musical Director is brilliant.”
Gaynor Williams, Dare To Sing Choir Member
“I have loved being part of our wonderful Choir the last two years. I have met lovely people and we couldn’t wish for a better Musical Director than Llinos. They say singing is therapeutic I believe this to be true.”
Trudy Williams, Dare To Sing Choir Member
“Fantastic performance last night for the international #skogsmulle symposium with @cyfleonltd @ignite_UP. Dare to sing made my hairs stand on end when you sang Nina Simone’s Feeling Good. What a reception you had, and a demand for an encore!!! Brilliant!” Dawn Penny
“I’ve always had the ambition to sing but always lacked confidence, the formation of Dare To Sing has opened up new horizons for me, I have found I can sing with confidence with a choir of like minded ladies who together have provided me with fulfillment of a dream, a lovely social environment and a wonderful sense of well-being.”
